Eureka-North Shore is reigniting the “Cross-District Traveling Gavel” tradition with a visit to Harmonia Lodge in West Palm Beach.

 

For those unfamiliar, the Traveling Gavel is a symbolic item passed between lodges to promote fellowship and traveling. There are a few different gavels: one for our district in Broward County, and this special Cross-District Gavel, which travels beyond our district. (Not to be confused with the Eureka-Colonial DC Gavel, which is a different tradition.)

 

Agenda:

8 am - Gavel Open / Degree Begins

10 am - Second Section Begins

11 am - Lunch Break

Note:

You’re welcome to attend the morning degree or join us at the second section, depending on your schedule. The Gavel presentation will take place before the lodge closes, during the Second Section of the Master Mason Degree.
